Christmas, the Birth of Christ, is a time of hope and joy. Jesus Christ is born in the town of Bethlehem, which translated from the Hebrew language means “House of Bread.” He comes with the fragrance of bread, to become life to His people, to bring peace and salvation to the world.
On Christmas Eve we will join with our families to experience this beautiful night filled with God’s love. Beginning with a prayer we will exchange the Christmas wafer with those at the table and offer good health and best wishes for the coming year.
I wish each of you, that the joy of Christmas finds a place in your hearts, your families and those dear to you.
May Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who comes to this earth with the gift of salvation, strengthen you in your faith, hope and love.
Please extend these wishes especially to those who may feel loneliness in their own homes, seniors’ residences, and hospitals. May the newly born Christ Child bestow each of us with the Gift of His Holy Presence.
I extend wishes of good health, merry Christmas, and a blessed New Year 2021.
